All About Intentions

Last year on day 7 of a 28-day Reiki intentions exercise, I realized that sometimes the universe really does ask, “How much do you want this?”

So while putting my attention and intentions toward making improvements in my life, here were some of the challenges I encountered that week:

1. A piece of jewelry I wear nearly every day and has tremendous sentimental value went missing. It ultimately turned up, but only after I had been through the emotional wringer of not being sure I’d ever see it again. Surprisingly, some inner work came up that I thought was completely resolved in my world, and it sounded like this: YOU DON’T DESERVE NICE THINGS, THIS IS WHY YOU CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS. That’s what the shit-flinging monkey who occasionally resides in my head kept repeating over and over as I frantically searched for my necklace. Logically, I knew the words were not true. Emotionally, I was beating myself up for having lost something that was important to me. This gave me the opportunity to be kinder to myself throughout the week as an exercise. Kindness.

2. My newish computer crashed. Three days out of warranty. Blue screen of death, operating system failure. This gave me the opportunity to be grateful for the other two computers that I do have (and the roughly 15 others I have had in the last 20 years) that haven’t given me a single lick of trouble. Gratitude.

3. A security guard fell asleep behind the wheel and managed to hit the only vehicle parked on the block: mine. While I am grateful that it was handled appropriately, I chose to find the humor in this. One. Freaking. Car. Mine. And he hit it. It is kind of funny, years ago I learned you can get pissed off and write the check or you can laugh and write the check – ultimately you’re still writing the check. So I find humor. Laughter.

Law of Attraction

Working with manifesting and intentions doesn’t magically make all of the challenges in life disappear – they exist, they are there, you can’t ignore them. What it does is it makes you change your perspective. You can’t work to improve your life if you’re focusing on what’s wrong with your life. So start to see what’s right with each circumstance or how you can improve it with a perspective shift.

“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer

Lessons in Manifesting, Intentions and Law Attraction

positive thinking conceptAre you tired of living in a state of lack and want? Do you think you know about the Law of Attraction and yet, you just can’t make the shift in your life? Are you unable to manifest what you need in life: Love? Money? Peace? Security? Consistently? Has “This Economy” left you with some serious opportunities for growth?

Are you ready to receive?

Or have you found that no matter what you do you just can’t seem to make things happen for you? I have to tell you I was at this place in my own way many years ago. It was these very tools that I want to share with you. If you can begin to use them in your own home with your own family, you’ll find that so much will change for you.

Are you ready to change?

Well here’s your opportunity. Email customerservice@kimberlyrinaldi.com with “Intentions” in the subject line and I’ll happily send you a copy of the intentions practice I use weekly. Whether looking at law of attraction, universal laws or creative consciousness there are some basic tools to put in place – and I’ll provide you with them to kick start your manifesting abilities.

How to Use the Language of Intention

thoughtsWhen working on Manifesting, Intentions, and Law of Attraction, it’s imperative that you understand how powerful language is.

Clarity is so important when dealing with The Universe, your creative consciousness, prayer, or that cosmic Sears Roebuck catalog that fuels the outcome of your intentions.

Here are ways for you to use the Language of Intention:

Eliminate words such as trying, hoping, wanting, to be, will, going to, etc…  All of these words create a space that says, “Not Now,” or “At some obscure time in the future.” It says this is not important and it doesn’t matter when it happens. Instead, focus on words that are present tense: I am, I can, I have, I do. Much more powerful language creates much more powerful outcomes.

Eliminate negative placeholders. These are words such as not, don’t, won’t, can’t, shouldn’t, etc… “Not” is not recognized. So if you say “I don’t want to be alone,” what you’re really telling the universe is “I don’t want to be alone.”  See what I mean by it being a negative placeholder? The more powerful language you can use is to tell us what you do want.

Don’t name illness or limitation. Again, we see things in the perfection that we desire. My standard is: I am happy, healthy and whole.

State things in a positive manner. Instead of saying “I intend that I’m not afraid anymore,” we would say “I intend that I am courageous.” Positive thoughts bring positive experiences; negative thoughts bring negative experiences.

So the next time you’re faced with a life challenge and want to make a change, remember your thoughts, remember your words.

What is the most recent good thing you’ve attracted to your life? It can be as simple as a good parking spot, or as big as a new career.

Meditation Check

I often say prayer is speaking to God, meditation is listening for his response.

Did you know that just about anything can be a meditation? Here is a list of some that I have done in the past two weeks:

  • Yoga
  • Long walks
  • Drinking a cup of coffee
  • Sitting silently
  • Chanting
  • Listening to music
  • Toning
  • Chi gung
  • Taking a hot bath

Meditation is about being present in the moment, whether you are clearing your mind or using a mantra or chanting, you are present with yourself for that moment.

Remember there is no wrong way. Whichever way you choose is right for you.

Meditation

You should try it. Daily.

It’s Only Money and Money is Only a Vibration

money

Are you tired of living paycheck to paycheck? Or worse yet, living without a paycheck? Do you know how to release the negative energy, thoughts and beliefs you have connected with that bring about these challenges? Are you ready to change and allow money to flow easily and abundantly to you?

Your thoughts are powerful, your words are spells.

Money, like everything else, is energy; a vibration. You can learn to vibrate and attract wealth and abundance to you now. Exercises, tools and meditations will help you make the changes you desire.

If you’re not happy with the world around you, go back to your thoughts. Your thoughts create your beliefs, your beliefs create your behaviors, and your behaviors ultimately create the world you live in.

Here’s a thought that you may or may not be ready for: You have exactly the amount of money you are comfortable with. But wait, I WANT MORE, you say. You may want more, but you’re not ready for it.

And there are two very fundamentally incorrect things wrong with wanting more.
