Healing Miracles

Holding a star

Among the many things I practice, I am a Reiki Master Teacher and as such, I train others in the energy mastery of Reiki healing as well as provide Reiki sessions to my clients.

What is Reiki, you ask?

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei, which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power,” and Ki which is “life force energy.” So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

OK, but; “WHAT IS REIKI?” you ask.

Well, Reiki is what changed Angela’s life.

Here is Angela’s testimonial, sent to me in an email:  Continue Reading

Have You Met Your Angels?

Angel

Greetings! And thank you for your continued support and INSPIRATION. I am always open to new ways of serving my clients; new thoughts, ideas and opportunities.

The last few months have been packed with experiences for me. Travel, Public Speaking, Radio Show, creating new products to assist you in Living-Joy-Fully.

The common thread in it all has been my Angels. I acknowledge their inspiration, guidance and protection. I am always in communication with and open to their influence. Angels are dedicated to serving our needs in a manner that allows us to experience Divine grace and love as they do. We have a choice, they were created for the purpose of.

Your angels have messages for you and are ready to assist you in any way which serves your connection to Divine grace and love. As I mentioned before, we have a choice, free will. Your angels will never intercede without your permission, or without you asking. Just know that they are there — waiting, willing, eager and excited at the prospect of being able to assist you in living the life you desire, the life you deserve.

Spend some time in meditation, and ask your angels to present to you. Ask them to intercede for you. You will be amazed at how much they can and are willing to help.

If you would like assistance in connecting with your angels, please contact me for a reading.

Women’s Healing Retreat Provides Relief

Guest post by Roxanne Hack

Anger.

It was permeating in my bones, seeping out of my skin, and manifesting itself in the form of severe stomach and chest pains and massive headaches. No matter how hard I tried to let go of the situation that was causing this anger, it held on like a bad smell in your kitchen that you just can’t identify no matter how many Tupperware containers you open and sniff.

It hadn’t started off as anger. In fact, I’d gone through much of the stages of loss already — denial, depression, bargaining (though not in that order). I knew the last stage would be acceptance, but it just wouldn’t come. I’d get out of one stage, and end up back in anger again.

Until Saturday, May 4.

I sat there in a gorgeous room at the Grand Californian in Anaheim, surrounded by like-minded women — most of whom I’d never met — and sobbed so loudly I actually startled myself.

Ms. Kimberly Rinaldi, the success coach whose workshops and private training sessions I’ve been attending for a few years now, was leading us through a timeline meditation at her women’s healing retreat. The technique addresses emotions — like anger — right from their start, and allows you to heal them all the way through your lifetime, up to and including the situation you’re currently struggling with. And it was exactly what I needed. Because when I went back on my timeline, I saw where this anger had stemmed from, and being able to say to my 4-year-old self that everything was going to be okay was enough. It was enough for me to release; I could finally let go.

This moment still gives me chills and loosens the tension in my shoulders. And it was only one moment out of many that have stayed with me since the healing retreat. From being able to hear other perspectives on similar circumstances to practicing favorite techniques, the retreat was exactly what I needed.

Since I’ve already attended so many of Kimberly’s training programs, I’d previously learned much of the lessons she taught at the retreat, but I compared it to a successful traffic school session. Sure, you know all the rules of the road because you’ve been driving for years, but there’s always a chance you’ll pick up something you missed the first time around. But the best part is that a refresher course means you’ve got those rules at the forefront of your mind for awhile now; after traffic school, you’re probably more apt to stay at the speed limit and keep your hands at ten-and-two on the wheel. After the women’s retreat, my meditation techniques have improved, and I am remembering to turn to EFT and toning before my stress levels get too high.

Whether learning or re-learning, connecting or reconnecting, the retreat was full of priceless moments, and more than worth the price of investment in myself. I can’t wait for the next one.

What Reiki Has Taught Me

Reiki written in tumbled stonesJust for today…

  • I will not worry.
  • I will not anger.
  • I will do my work honestly.
  • I will give thanks for my many blessings.
  • I will be kind to myself, my neighbor and every living thing.

These are the five core teachings of Reiki as interpreted by me. Yes, I have changed a couple of the words. But the core values remain.

I try to teach these in all of the works I do. I have them printed on business cards and hand them out like candy. I try to make them a practice in my daily life and meditations. I would love it if you joined me.

Not worrying is about energy projected into the future. You cannot worry about something that has already happened. Pull the energy and attention back to the here and now. The same goes for anger; it is about energy projected back in time. Be present, in the moment, for you at all times.

Doing your work honestly is more than not embezzling from your employer, it is about finding your calling; what you really want to do. Whether it is your vocation or avocation, do what you love, with your whole being.

Give thanks for your MANY blessings before you seek more. Own what you have and be grateful. You will find abundance in this. It doesn’t matter where you are in life, if you find that place of gratitude you will see improvement.

Be kind to myself, my neighbor and every living thing. I have inserted myself first. This is left out of the original teaching. As a coach I can tell you that this is often the core of most peoples’ challenges. Be kind to you. Take care of you. Do good things for you. ONLY when you have the abundance to give to others without draining your reserves will you find the balance you seek.

Take each lesson and make it a part of your daily meditation. Try to live it fully. See what changes you bring about in your world and the world around you.

What is Reiki?

a pregnant women receives a Reiki treatment in a salonThe word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei, which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power,” and Ki, which is “life force energy.” So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

There is a non-physical energy that gives life to every living organism. For many thousands of years we have known of this energy and have sought to develop ways to harness its power to heal and influence our lives.

The Japanese call this energy Ki. It is also known as Chi by the Chinese, Prana by a number of Asian cultures and the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost by most of the Western world.

While Reiki is not religious, it is practiced by people of all religious persuasions as well as those with no religious convictions. It is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.

Many hospitals have incorporated Reiki into their patient care plans before and after procedures, and have reported that while Reiki helps to promote healing with fewer complications, they often also saw a decrease in the use of pain medication, a quicker recovery time, and a shorter hospital stay.

In fact, even celebs are backing up Reiki.  Dr. Mehmet Oz, renowned cardiovascular surgeon, author and host of “The Dr. Oz Show,” introduced millions of viewers to the natural healing practice of Reiki as part of a program on alternative and natural remedies.

Dr. Oz included not only a segment featuring a demonstration by Reiki author Pamela Miles, but an emphatic recommendation to “try Reiki” as the #1 “Oz’s Order” at the show’s conclusion (read more about Dr. Oz’s alternative medicine treatment suggestions).

So what, exactly, is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The International Center for Reiki Training

Reiki helps to replenish your vital energy and strengthen the immune system. At the same time Reiki helps with both acute and chronic illnesses by reducing and relieving stress.

People may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said, but they will always remember the way you made them feel. – Maya Angelou

Personally, I have seen clients respond to Reiki in miraculous ways. My father’s oncologist called it a miracle too. You see, dad resolved his CML (a type of leukemia) after a single session. For more than 10 years we couldn’t bring his white blood cell count into normal range and he had been told the month before nothing else was working, to prepare for the inevitable. I have also seen clients receive the peace to pass well when it was their time.

In recent years it has become more widely accepted, I have been asked to speak at several hospitals over the past couple of years about Reiki as used in both patient and staff self care. If you haven’t tried Reiki yet, you really should.
